Worship
The celebration of the liturgy is central to the life of our community. It is the “summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; at the same time it is the fount from which all the Church’s power flows” (Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, 1963). We are strengthened for service to our community and our world by prayer and especially by the celebration of the Eucharist. Our ministry in the name of Jesus draws us ever more fully to prayer and praise.
Liturgy Schedule
Parishioners and friends of Our Lady of Good Hope Parish celebrate a wide variety of liturgies and devotions. The Eucharist (Mass, both weekday and weekly), Reconciliation (Confession), Anointing of the Sick, and the Stations of the Cross are just a few examples. Follow this link for our current liturgy schedule. Always consult the bulletin for the most up to date liturgical schedule.
Liturgical Ministries
The Second Vatican Council called the whole Church to reflect on the role of the laity in the Church. It reminded us that all Christians, by virtue of their baptism, are called to spread the gospel, to continue the work of building the Kingdom of God, and, most especially, to offer worship.
Our Lady of Good Hope provides all parishioners with the opportunity to regularly celebrate vibrant, faith-enriching liturgy, Liturgical training, spiritual formation, and theological education. All parishioners are invited and encouraged to share their talents and interests with the parish community by becoming involved in a liturgical ministry.

Sacraments
“The whole liturgical life of the Church revolves around the Eucharistic sacrifice and the sacraments. There are seven sacraments in the Church: Baptism, Confirmation (or Chrismation), Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony.” Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1113.
